As a potter, I strive to produce clay objects that achieve the goal of combining functional forms with unique personal aesthetics. I use both wheel throwing and hand-building methods as an avenue for exploring the endless possibilities that working with ceramic materials presents. I enjoy creating something unique by using flowing lines and purposeful curvature to help join these methods into successful pottery.

Kyle learned wheel throwing in high school and has been in love with clay ever since. He graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 with a BFA in Art with a concentration in Ceramics. The facilities at ECU allowed him to explore many different firing techniques for his pottery. He is currently working as an assistant to local ceramic artist, Michael Hoffman.
